A Day in the Life...Darin Oelrichs is called currently as an intern and a college student, while also working for a seed dealer. He’s a son, uncle (who loves to travel and visit his nephews and niece), and friend to many. He also shares his calling at church by assisting in worship and singing. Mid-MO Bible Camp is right around the corner! July 21-26 at Camp Rising Sun in the Lake of the Ozarks State Park. Youth who have completed 4th thru 9th grades are invited to attend, and bring friends! Registration forms are available at church, and need to be turned in by July 1. A Day in the Life....callings change. Throughout our lives God calls us in many and varied ways. A few weeks ago we lifted up the callings of Krista Poe and her family. As a military family they have been called to a new assignment. We trust that in all the places God calls us, God goes before us and with us. The Luther League is hosting an informal Farewell Picnic at the city park across the street from the church on Sunday, June 23 right after church. If you would like to join (all are welcome) there is a sign up sheet in the Link (area between sanctuary and Gathering space!)

We celebrate with our confirmation students who affirmed their baptism this morning in worship. Blessings on each of them as they journey forth together!
This weekend in worship we celebrate Pentecost - the arrival of the Holy Spirit among God's people. On Sunday we celebrate with an Affirmation of Baptism of some of our youth being confirmed. It's a day to wear red to recognize the power of the Spirit. See you there!
A good three days at Synod Assembly with colleagues, friends, siblings in Christ. The featured order of business was the election of a new bishop. Here are the delegates from St. Paul's with our newly elected Bishop-elect Susan Candea. We look forward to sharing more from our experiences this week with the congregation!

A Day in the Life...Noreen Ives best lives our her calling these days in the summer tending her garden. Some Sundays in church you can find her beautiful home-grown flowers up front bringing beauty to the sanctuary. She’s also a sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She believes that prayer is one of her callings - whether it’s washing dishes, pulling weeds, or mowing her lawn, she lifts up her prayers through her work. How are you living out your calling today?

Our summer Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be held during the evenings on August 5-9! ALL are welcome to join us for stories, music, games, and more, exploring how God is with us in all the challenges of life. Pre-school through middle school youth are invited to take part in the week. Mark your calendars, and we'll be sharing more information soon!

A Day in the Life...Arlene Schlesselman is called as a mother, grandmother, friend, and all around lover of life. This week specifically she’s sharing her gifts as she helps coordinate the St. Paul’s World Hunger Fish Fry. Most days she finds great joy in staying healthy and keeping people laughing. You can also find her living out her calling to serve by volunteering at the Cole Camp Food Pantry or on the Church Alliance. How are you living out your calling today?
Our annual Fish Fry is THIS SUNDAY!!! Come, join us for some excellent food and company. Free will donations, with all proceeds going to world hunger relief. Spread the word! (And this year we will NOT be using peanut oil for the fish, FYI)
